weed-id-Picture1Come out and learn about Milfoil; what it looks like and what actions to take if you find some. We will also have information on our Weed Watcher program and our Lake Host program.

Milfoil is an invasive aquatic plant that clogs up waterways in many parts of NH. Late last summer milfoil was found growing in Beaver Lake. Amy Smagula, NH Department of Environmental Services, Exotic Species Coordinator, quickly deployed a team of divers and successfully eradicated the milfoil found.
