We hope everyone can attend this meeting, even if you are not a current member of the BLIA. This is a great opportunity to gain information about Beaver Lake. Familiarize yourself with the workings of the BLIA; meet the Board and fellow members of the organization. Learn about the current “State of the Lake”,
and become more informed by asking questions about lake issues.
9:45 AM: Meet and Greet – Coffee & Donuts
10:00 AM: Keynote – Amy Smagula, Limnologist & Exotic Species Program Coordinator, NH DES – Amy will give us an update on the current status of the spread of the exotic weed Milfoil in Beaver Lake. This is THE single most important issue facing Beaver Lake today and for the future. Amy will discuss the spread of Milfoil in the lake, current efforts of eradication and future methods of eradication including local and widespread chemical treatment. Amy is also an expert on the effects of Milfoil on lake ecosystems and its effect
on property values.

11:00 AM: Water Quality Update
11:05 AM: Election of Board Members and Officers

Bring a chair or two and please walk or car pool if possible as parking is limited. The BLIA will provide Hamburgers, Hotdogs, & Beverages (also condiments and paper goods). Donations of salads or dessert would be welcome.
