Dock Removal
A huge thank you to our Beaver Lake volunteer team for removing 28 docks over the past two Saturdays. We have 5 docks left on the list. This is the last call for dock removal. If you need help please email StevenAnthony@Beaver-Lake.org. Saturday 10/31 is the last day for this service.
Leaves in our Lake
While leaves will naturally fall into the lake, please do your part to not blow or dump leaves in our beautiful lake. When leaves break down in the water, they add phosphorus and create muck. Those are two things we all can agree we don’t want in our lake. Phosphorus feeds algae and can lead to larger algae blooms in our lake. The milfoil dive team can tell you that we have a lot of algae in our lake already. Phosphorus consumes the oxygen in the water which can lead to fish and other aquatic life dying.
